BBNC, our parent company, was formed under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA) of December 18, 1971. It is made up of 8,500 shareholders who are Eskimo, Indian and Aleut. The Bristol Bay region is 150 miles southwest of Anchorage, Alaska, and is 40,000 sqaure miles in size.
